Ugh.... I went in for PRODUCE... as you can see yes I did buy produce... but I also got lots of other stuff. I went in after class with NO PLAN. Don't do that... have a plan!! That's how you save money!!!!! Also... eat before you shop.. I was HUNGRY I just got out of class. :o) Also my hubby called and asked for me to grab him stuff for lunches for those hectic days. I spent $42.59 and saved $2.00!! lol This is why I hate walmart... ugh!!!! I bought like $16 worth of JUNK food!!!!!!!! So not me... oh well!! This is just to show ya... sometimes it's ok to do whatever you feel like doing. Don't beat yourself up if you go over budget. It happens sometimes!!!!
I avoid Walmart too! I ONLY go there if I have specific coupons that I am using. Granted, some of their prices are a bit lower than grocery stores (some not), but they don't double coupons. Why would I spend a 50 cent coupon at Walmart when around the corner, Kroger will turn it into a dollar off? I'm with ya!
ReplyDeleteYeah since I've been couponing last August this the first time i've shopped at walmart like this. You know... it can be SUCH a hassle there. You never know how they are gonna be about your coupons and what not. I do like to go there for produce b/c it's usually a good price. The problem with them is some of there things are soooo cheap and people buy more crap bc of that. Like the yoplait i bought... i know i could have used a coupon and bought like 10 single cups. And I'm pretty sure I had a coupon for the banquet nuggets. But oh well... it's just one of those off days!!! Hehe!!! But yeah... if I do use coupons there it's usually my coupons higher than $0.60. That's how high my Krog doubles!!! Thanks for sharing my "dislike" for walmart!! lol
ReplyDeleteI usually only go to Walmart for a few things. If you check my shopping trip at Walmart this week I didn't use a single coupon there. I try to stay out of there unless I am using coupons I know I can get overage on. But when my Walmart is only 1 1/2 mile away sometimes you just gotta shop there.
ReplyDeleteYeah i rarely go. I'm going back today... my son has to get his haircut and i know a girl that works in the smartstyles at walmart. I also have to return some stuff. So I looked at a few walmart coupon matchups and got my coupons clipped for just free to super cheap items. I have to redeem myself from the other day!! lol :)
