Wow! Great job! Thanks for the reminder to use my coupon before it expires on Sunday. My closest store is actually closing and so they have very limited supply of things, but they do have deep discounts. I think I will call and see if they will allow me to use this coupon with the sale. If not, I do have another store I can go to, it's just not around the corner.

Thanks. I don't do a lot of shopping at Big Lots. This was actually the first time I really got to look around. I was very pleased. I might do some of my stock up shopping there. I was out of fruit and for $0.40 a can I was thrilled. I think the brand was del monte. That runs for well over $1 at grocery stores. Hopefully they will let you use your coupon :)

Great trip! I haven't been to Big Lots in a while the closest are in Carbondale and Mt. Vernon. I never shop in Mt Vernon and Carbondale is about 50 minutes away.

Ahh that sucks its so far away. We have one in Paducah. This is the first time i've really shopped there. I think it will def be an asset for me and my frugal shopping. Esp for all that fruit!!! I desperately need to make an Aldi trip to stock up on canned goods.

ReplyDeleteWE used to live close to a Big Lots and I loved to stop in and see what I could find. It's always one of those hit or miss stores.
Now, we are 45minutes to the closest store and that's too far to chance on stock we need.
Once a year I work near that store and once a year my daughter has a doctor's appointment in that area, so I stop by then!
